I've Been Super Busy Improving WebGuy Communications.
As you may already know. I launched a new web site at www.WebGuy.com at the first of the year. I've been hard at work improving my service both in the underlying infrastructure (web hosting servers and email servers) as well as my web site so your experience in utilizing my services can be more efficient and more rewarding. Did you know that your WebGuy hosted web site is now running on a virtualized server running SSD (solid state drive) hard drives? It makes your site quicker because accessing data on a solid state drive is noticeably faster than on traditional mechanical drives with spinning discs.
There's a new help desk for tech support at https://WebGuy.com/help-desk as well as a new order system and billing system.
While I work the bugs out of the system you may have received some confusing emails regarding your products, services or account info like invoices and payment receipts.
I have completed the testing phase of the new billing system and will make further adjustments as they become needed.
Old Billing System Going Offline
The old billing system at https://secure.webguy.net/mb/ will be going offline at the end of the year. The old system went into service in August 2002 and served me well. Times change as well as security and software so the time to migrate is here. You will still be able to access all of your old account info, invoices, payment records, etc and if you wish to retain any of this info you're advised to visit the old billing system and print any old invoices or payment history before it goes offline permanently at the end of the year.
